Chef Brent Foster crafts food from memories—those shaped by family dinners and especially those with his Jazz Hero Award-winning Granddad, Bill Foster. His culinary roots span from Detroit to Outstanding in the Field, where he managed and cheffed for specialty dining experiences across North America. There, he met Ariel Knoebel—a writer, food historian, and professional farm-dinner host. Now based in Portland, Brent leads the bar at Crispy Gai and Ariel manages communications for Secret Supper. Together, they design unforgettable culinary gatherings inspired by Maine’s vibrant farming community.
