Wanderwood is committed to wholesome food and farming, sustainable building and landscaping, healthy living, and natural beauty. These commitments are exemplified on our farm.

We have five acres of farmland surrounded by many acres of working woodlands.

Our vegetable garden reminds us that where our food comes from matters; humans are intimately connected with the earth and the way we treat it directly impacts our health. That’s why we grow food sustainably and naturally without harmful herbicides or pesticides. We provide produce to caterers and guests throughout their stay at Wanderwood, and encourage guests to spend time relaxing in and exploring the fields.

Our chickens play an important role on the farm, helping us by eating kitchen scraps and providing manure to accelerate our composting. They also produce some incredible eggs.

Our woods provide us with a local source of firewood and lumber.
