Workshops + Schedule: 

  • December 4, 2025, 6 - 8 pm - Create Your Own Wrapping Paper! Learn simple and fun lino block carving and stamping techniques. 

  • January 8, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - German Window Stars! Brighten dark winter days with colorfully patterned window transparencies. 

  • February 12, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Japanese Stab Binding Book! Mix and match stitching, colors, and surface patterns in this hands-on bookbinding workshop.

  • March 12, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Ukrainian Pysanky Egg Decorating! Practice the art of Ukrainian egg decorating with vibrant dyes and beautifully intricate patterns. 

  • April 9, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Screen Printing Workshop Learn techniques to print your own custom designs onto paper or cloth.

Come solo or bring a friend for a relaxed and inspired night out. Space is limited, so don’t wait to reserve! Tickets for each class are $75, or $350 for all five. These classes are limited to adults over the age of 18 with a parent guardian, or 21 without. Please note that all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds after purchase. You may transfer tickets to another guest if you cannot attend. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, we will try to reschedule for another date and will return your ticket price if you’re unable to attend.

About the artist: Erica Qualey is an award winning watercolor artist and teacher. She has exhibited internationally and is represented in private collections throughout the United States and Canada. She is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society and has been published in the 19th edition of the yearly publication, Splash. She is an experienced teacher and has led workshops for adults and children for over 12 years through organizations such the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, ME, MAEA at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deere Isle, ME, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, ME. She has participated in visiting artist programs in public schools and is the resident artist at Skidompha Public Library in Damariscotta, ME where she runs public art programming, creates community art projects, and has created a large-scale sculpture installation. She is an awardee of an Artist Project Grant through the Maine Arts Commission which she has used to create a virtual teaching platform that has allowed her to grow as a teacher and fulfill a dream to be able to give artistic opportunities back to rural communities similar to where she grew up. 

About Wanderwood: Wanderwood is a sustainable stays and events venue in Nobleboro, Maine. They grow MOFGA Certified organic produce on their farm, host farm dinners, workshops, weddings and special events in their event barn, and invite overnight guests to stay in their renovated 1920s farmhouse.
