Inkwell: a monthly drop-in writing series with Jefferson Navicky 

Inspiration - Practice - Community

Inkwell is a space for writers of all genres and experience levels to connect with each other and write. Each session will blend discussions of selected texts, generative exercises, and dedicated writing practice. The atmosphere will be both experimental and supportive. So whether you’re all fired up or totally stuck, come tap the well! 

Meeting the third Monday of the month

$45/session or $175 for four sessions

More about Jefferson:

Jefferson Navicky is a multi-genre writer whose work has appeared in Smokelong Quarterly, Beloit Poetry Journal, Fairy Tale Review, and Southern Humanities Review. He has published four books, including Antique Densities: Modern Parables & Other Experiments in Short Prose, which won the 2022 Maine Literary Award for Poetry. Jefferson regularly publishes author interviews and book reviews, and he serves as Interviews Editor for The Cafe Review. A graduate of Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, Jefferson’s approach to writing and teaching emphasizes imagination, experimentation, and authenticity. In addition to offering private writing and editing sessions, he has taught literature and creative writing in the Maine Community College System, at Bates College, and through the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance and Maine Humanities Council. Jefferson serves on the board of Millay House Rockland and is the Archivist for the Maine Women Writers Collection.

Wanderwood is a sustainable stays and events venue in Nobleboro, Maine. They grow MOFGA Certified organic produce on their farm, host farm dinners, workshops, weddings and special events in their event barn, and invite overnight guests to stay in their renovated 1920s farmhouse.
