Join musicians from the Grammy-nominated, musician-led string ensemble Palaver Strings for an evening performance of their program Outlook on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. at Wanderwood. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and guests are encouraged to come and socialize before + after the performance.
Outlook explores multiple outlooks on life and chamber music. Described as a “fervent, celebratory investigation into joy itself,” Paul Wiancko’s Lift explodes with adventurous textures that span the full sonic range of the string quartet. The program continues with a beautiful arrangement of a Danish String Quartet fiddle tune before ending with Beethoven's monumental, warm-hearted, and profound Opus 127 string quartet quartet from his later years.
The program will be played by Grant Houston, Maya French, Brianna Fischler, and Nicholas Johnson.
The performance begins at 7:15 p.m. in the Wanderwood event barn. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Come early / stay late to enjoy a glass of wine + a snack! Consider this a classical house party.
Tickets are $30, limited, and must be purchased in advance. Children under 12 are free with a paid adult (but please note children attending when you purchase your tickets). All sales are final.
